NIO

Specializing in designing and developing high-performance smart EVs.

The Partnership.

NIO is a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer that specializes in designing and developing high-performance smart EVs. The company was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Shanghai, China. NIO's mission is to shape a joyful lifestyle by offering premium smart EVs and providing innovative user experiences.

The challenges they were facing.

The challenge in this case was to build NIO's power teams across Europe in a short period of time. This involved penetrating new markets geographically and building charging and battery swapping infrastructure across Europe. The company needed to identify suitable candidates with specific skill sets and qualifications for various roles across four different countries. The challenge was to coordinate the hiring process and successfully onboard the selected candidates within the required timeline.

The solutions we presented.

Our approach to building NIO's power teams across Europe involved a deep understanding of the specific needs and requirements of the company. We worked closely with the hiring team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the skill sets and qualifications required for each role. This enabled us to create an effective recruitment strategy that would attract the most suitable candidates for the positions available.

To ensure that we were delivering the highest quality candidates, we had weekly meetings with the NIO team to review our progress and discuss any updates or changes to the job specifications. This allowed us to continually refine our search and focus on identifying candidates who were the best match for each role.

In addition, we took a proactive approach to coordinating all aspects of the hiring process on behalf of NIO. This included scheduling interviews, collecting feedback from hiring managers, and preparing offers for successful candidates. By taking care of these details, we were able to streamline the recruitment process, reduce the burden on NIO's internal team, and ensure that candidates had a positive experience throughout the process.

Results.

Our approach ultimately resulted in the successful hiring of 40 individuals across eight different skill sets and four countries within a four-month period. Our ability to understand NIO's unique needs and requirements, and to tailor our recruitment strategy accordingly, was key to the success of this project. By partnering with us, NIO was able to quickly build the teams it needed to support its expansion into new markets and drive growth across Europe.
