Senior Project Developer - Bristol - Solar/BESS - salary is competitive with a 30% bonus

Piper Maddox are working with a global developer for renewables to expand their UK division to work on their solar, and BESS portfolio.

You would be coming in as a Senior Project Developer and this role would see you managing existing sites within their pipeline up to RTB. This position would be great for someone that likes to be hands on in their role, and enjoys interaction with all areas of a business.

What would your role look like, and not be limited to?:
-Directly managing the companies dev pipeline of solar and BESS.
-Working closely with internal teams to ensure pipeline is moving along.
-Working with external parties such as landowners, DNOs, planning authorities.
-Weekly reports on pipeline.
-Working to mentor more junior members in their UK division.
-Keeping up to date with any policy/legislation change that could affect how a pipeline is delivered to.
-Helping support on selling projects.

A leading electric vehicle manufacturer who's objective is to manufacture, distribute, market and support a variety of products focusing on mainly vehicles within the heavy duty towing space is looking to grow it's operations department by hiring a Sourcing Manager to lead a small team. This individual will be responsible for building out the systematic strategy and processes for the procurement and sourcing team. Key Skills Manage planning and purchasing activities for your team to ensure supply to production lines and to support target inventory levels by commodity family. Identify and drive alternate sourcing initiatives which result in improved material availability, optimal inventory levels, and cost-effective solutions with suppliers/partners. Develop and manage your team Develop, implement, and manage KPIs which help you and the team perform optimally Ideal background Degree within a technical discipline, ideally engineering – electrical or mechanical – having hands on experience within the product space will be highly advantageous 8+ years’ directly within procurement – in an EV is a plus but any large scale manufacturing organization would work. Being able to speak to professionals in electronics space to communicate around engineering supplies & components Previous team management / leadership experience is needed.
