A rapidly growing company, founded by MIT alumni are looking to grow their team with talented Project Engineers who have experience with concentrated solar energy (CSP.)

 

They provide the first complete application of high-temperature, modular solar power with overnight storage for cleaner renewable energy with higher yields. Due to a growing demand for this companies systems they are looking to add talented people to engineer their industrial and utility heat and power systems and ensure they are built and operate as engineered.

 

The role can be fully remote anywhere in the US with 10-20% of travel.

 

We a looking for someone with a background:

  • Strong background of working in the power generation or clean energy space
  • Experience with concentrated solar energy (CSP)
  • An understanding of solar power technology (heliostats, energy storage, power generation)
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field

Primary Responsibilities:Enforce and oversee adherence to Technical Cleanliness guidelines and standards across the factory, including processes, equipment, material and personnel flows, gowning, and cleaning procedures.Implement validation and analysis procedures for clean rooms, cleanliness grade areas, raw materials, and overall technical cleanliness of products according to ISO 14644, ISO 16232, and VDA 19 standards.Supervise and support clean and dry room training, ensuring operators and cleaning crews follow cleaning protocols.Assist in measurements and verification of in-line decontamination methods, online cleaning methods, and process protocols for efficiency, and suggest improvements.Verify material quality (construction, machines, operations, raw material/packaging) to meet Technical Cleanliness standards.Support the quality team in addressing clean room, process, and product non-conformity's, conducting 8Ds, RCAs, etc.Provide feedback to Supplier Quality and Supplier Development teams regarding non-conformities in incoming material relevant to technical cleanliness specs.Offer feedback and instructions to the maintenance and industrialization team to optimize clean room performance.Report technical cleanliness status to Production and Quality managers, proposing improvements and actions for non-conformities.Profile:Knowledge and Expertise:Experience in HVAC and clean and dry room construction and operations.Proficiency in technical cleanliness analysis and cleanroom validation activities.Thorough understanding of ISO 14644, ISO 16232, and VDA 19 standards.Experience:3-5 years of experience in Technical Cleanliness and cleanroom design, construction, and operations in pharmaceutical, food, microelectronics, battery, or relevant industries.Qualifications:BAC STL, Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Physicist, or Chemist.Key Behaviors:Detail-oriented, results-driven, problem-solving, proactive, and persistent.Methodical, communicative, and capable of multitasking.Ability to guide and coordinate different teams toward a common goal.Takes pride in and serves as a role model in their job.Additional Skills:Familiarity with analytical methods such as optical microscopy, SEM-EDX, ICP-MS, discrete particle counting, etc.Experience in the automotive industry and battery manufacturing.Knowledge of HVAC design, flow vent simulation, and Technical Cleanliness in a mass production environment.Piper Maddox is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
