About the Company: A leading independent power producer is seeking a Director of Land Acquisition to join their team. The company focuses on sustainable and equitable energy solutions, leveraging existing infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of renewable technologies.

Role Overview: The Director of Land Acquisition will spearhead strategic land campaigns across the company's portfolio of energy hubs. This role involves managing external land agents, overseeing internal teams, and collaborating closely with project developers and legal counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead land acquisition efforts across current and future energy hubs
  • Manage external land agents and contracts
  • Coordinate with internal teams and project developers
  • Develop strategies for engaging key landowners

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10+ years of land acquisition experience, preferably in renewable energy
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with land leases
  • People management experience
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability
  • Persistent and motivated mindset
  • Willingness to travel
