NEW OPPORTUNITY - Head of Grid - £90,000 DOE - London (Hybrid)

I am working with an international independent power producer (IPP) who specialises in utility scale Solar, BESS and Wind projects. This global player who operate across 6 countries are looking to make a key hire into the company, a Head of Grid Connections. With the UK market going through some key changes at the moment, this role is truly crucial to the long-term strategy of the company.

My client boasts a project pipeline of over 6GW across 200+ projects. This extensive project pipeline is accredited to their commitment in utilising extensive industry and technological knowledge from project inception to energy delivery. Their exceptionally skilled global workforce truly makes them a leader in the industry, and offers you the chance to work inside of this environment.

Joining my client offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, international renewable energy company.

They have a simple mission as a group, that's felt throughout the whole organization. Their aim is to provide renewable energy for future generations through renewable energy projects globally.

Your main responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring grid connection reforms and changes to grid connection process as well as communicating these to the wider development team.
* Liaise with National Grid and DNOs for grid connection agreements.
* Understanding grid policies and attending industry events.
* Working on a technical nature for projects, gaining grid connections and ensuring projects reach grid milestones.
* Maintaining and establishing relationships with industry bodies and system operators.
