Role OverviewWe are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Director/Head of Transmission Development & Strategy to lead the establishment and growth of a new business line focused on electric transportation infrastructure. This leader will spearhead development initiatives, drive strategic partnerships, and oversee construction and operation efforts primarily in the U.S., with an eye on expanding into LATAM markets. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for electric transportation network projects, including identifying key markets, partners, and technologies.Business Development: Identify and evaluate new opportunities to develop electric transportation networks that align with company goals.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, Transmission Owners (TOs), and other critical stakeholders in the sector to facilitate project approvals and partnerships.Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver results across all phases of project development, construction, and operations.Regulatory Expertise: Navigate and influence regulatory frameworks and policies to position the company as a leader in electric transportation infrastructure development.Performance Focus: Ensure the achievement of key milestones, budgets, and performance metrics to deliver results that align with organizational objectives. QualificationsProven experience in leading new business lines, particularly in infrastructure development, energy, or electric transportation.Deep familiarity with the regulatory landscape and Transmission Owners in the U.S.Strong track record in business development and identifying growth opportunities.Exceptional ability to establish and maintain relationships with regulators, TOs, and other sector stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams.Results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving measurable outcomes.Flexibility and openness to exploring new markets, including LATAM.
