They are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to help lead the delivery of transformative solar energy projects that will have a lasting impact on the renewable energy landscape.

The Role:

The Senior Project Engineer will play a critical role in managing the technical aspects of solar projects. This includes overseeing the engineering, design, and construction processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all performance requirements. The Senior Project Engineer will be the primary technical point of contact for all project-related issues and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Lead the design, engineering, and construction phases of utility-scale, commercial, and community solar projects.
Manage project scope, costs, schedule, and risks, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Review and optimize engineering designs, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, EPC contractors, and developers to ensure successful project execution.
Oversee the creation and review of key project documentation, including specifications, feasibility studies, proposals, and contracts.
Provide ongoing technical support throughout construction, acting as the escalation point for issues and ensuring milestones are met.
Negotiate EPC and interconnection agreements to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in solar project engineering, development, or construction.
In-depth technical expertise in solar PV system design, electrical engineering, and project execution.
Experience in utility-scale solar projects, with a strong understanding of DC, AC, MV, and HV systems, as well as SCADA and control systems.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Proficient in reviewing commissioning reports, FAT reports, and diagnostics.
Familiarity with renewable energy engineering documents, project agreements, and permits.
Strong background in electrical power systems engineering, including knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), FERC, and ISO standards.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field). A Master's degree or professional certifications are a plus.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include managing the design and testing processes of electrical systems, ensuring seamless delivery across all project phases.
