Account Executive - Renewable Energy SaaS Business - Germany - €50,000 - €80,000 (base salary) + bonus


Piper Maddox is looking for an Account Executive for a business operating in the renewable energy sector across Europe. Specialising in development of SaaS solution for asset monitoring and a microgrid operating system to improve the access of solar power and accelerate the energy transition.


In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and driving national & international sales growth. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions that advance their renewable energy initiatives.


The Role:

Take full ownership of the entire sales cycle.
Develop your own pipeline across different regions and new markets through inbound and outbound prospecting.
Execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
Identify and engage potential clients, while nurturing existing client relationships.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Report on sales performance and market feedback to C-level executives.


Background:

4+ years' experience in B2B SaaS.
Proven experience selling into the Utilities (Stadwerke) industry, including consulting utilities, municipal utilities, and energy service providers.
Demonstrated success in building new markets, covering all aspects of the sales lifecycle - prospecting, demos, negotiation, and closing.
Experience in a fast-growing, dynamic business or startup environment.
Fluent in German (C1 minimum).
