Project Developer for Onshore Wind & Solar

To be based in Scotland - highly flexible remote working

Salary depending on candidate experience: Up to £70,000

Piper Maddox are currently working with a rapidly expanding renewable energy company with presence across nearly 20 countries. Having been around in the sector for nearly 20 years, our client is one of the most established players in the market.

We are supporting them in the growth of their UK team. Across their time in the UK market, they have put together a pipeline of 2GW of Solar and Wind projects - as well as a number of accelerated grid connections. With the current situation in the UK grid space, factors like this are crucial to project progression.

Despite being a global company, their senior leadership team were determined to not create an overly corporate business environment. Working within the UK division of this company will give you a high level of autonomy with the backing and stability of the wider business behind you.

Your role as a Project Developer will surround:

> Ensuring project viability both in terms of financial and environmental factors. Making
sure the project remains viable throughout the development lifecycle.

> Supporting on project origination and moving projects through the planning process.
Identifying suitable project opportunities and moving them forward.

> Liaising with the internal grid department on securing connection to the grid.

> Management of external consultants across the development process. As well as working
with the wider business colleagues in different territories.
