NEW OPPORTUNITY - Design Engineer - £50,000 DOE - London - Hybrid

Piper Maddox is currently working with a brilliantly exciting renewable energy developer who are aiming to bolster their in-house capabilities as they transition towards an IPP model. With over 1.5GW of current grid connections and a target total of 4GW by the end of their year, it is an exciting time to join their technical design team.

As the portfolio expands, my client is looking to bring in a talented design engineer to take responsibility for refining layouts and creating designs for utility scale solar, BESS and wind projects. With an importance to collaborate with the development and grid team, this role requires someone who has the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:
- Create site layouts and technical designs for renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to ensure designs are completed to the highest standard.

Key skills
- Ability to use AutoCAD, PVcase and PVsyst.
- 2+ years of experience designing utility scale renewable energy projects.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join a highly ambitious team and is looking to further develop their technical design skills.
