NEW OPPORTUNITY - Field Service Engineer (BESS) - £65,000 DOE - Manchester

Piper Maddox are currently working with a company at the forefront of the global energy storage solutions, quickly becoming the leader in delivering clean energy solutions. As my client further expands, they are seeking experienced BESS Field Service Engineers to ensure the smooth functioning of their energy storage systems across the UK market.

This role involves overseeing maintenance, managing on-site activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with subcontractors and clients to maintain high-performance standards, ensuring the storage systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for the daily operation of energy storage sites.
* Conduct regular maintenance, both preventive and corrective, to ensure optimal system performance.
* Supervise the work of subcontractors on-site, ensuring all activities meet safety and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations during all site operations.
* Prepare and submit detailed site reports promptly.
* Assist with client training on the operation and maintenance of energy storage systems.
* Collaborate in developing service strategies to improve operational efficiency.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently on-site.

Key Skills:
* 18th Edition BS7671 qualification
* Strong background in maintaining or commissioning electrical equipment, particularly in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
* Experience in working under strict safety regulations
* Flexibility to travel regularly to support our UK sites.
