Role: Engineering Manager
Location: Lisbon, Portugal

About the Company:

The organization is a rapidly expanding business specializing in the installation and maintenance of public EV charging stations and commercial rooftop Solar PV installations. It is seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Manager to drive sales growth, manage client relationships, and ensure seamless coordination across departments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of the EV installation industry, particularly in public charging infrastructure, and possess a strong understanding of the design and ICP element. Experience with Solar PV and broader electrical systems is highly desirable.

Required Experience:

Over 5 years of experience in similar roles within the PV and/or EV sectors
Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams with the ability to lead and motivate staff
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
Knowledge of safety and quality standards and regulations applicable to the sector
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSol, and/or PVsyst, as well as Excel


Responsibilities:

Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of photovoltaic solar energy and electric vehicle projects, ensuring technical excellence and innovation
Coordinate with the procurement department for supplier selection and component acquisition, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications
Collaborate with the QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) department to develop and implement safety and quality protocols throughout all project phases
Interact with operations teams to optimise installation and maintenance processes, ensuring the operational efficiency of implemented systems
Work closely with the commercial department to align with market needs and ensure the commercial viability of projects
Manage project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring profitability and financial efficiency
Monitor and evaluate project progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery
Promote continuous team training and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
