Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Specialist - Onshore Renewable Energy

Office location: County Kildare, Hybrid Working Pattern

Salary/Package: Salary Dependent on Candidate Experience + Wider Benefits

Piper Maddox are excited to be supporting a leading name within the Irish Renewable Energy sector to add to their growing team. Our client has been a mainstay in the market for over 50 years, meaning they are one of the most experienced players in what is an industry that is only set to get bigger going forward!

This company has multiple divisions across the renewable energy project lifecycle and act as a fully fledged IPP, taking projects from inception, through development, and into construction - eventually finishing up at an operational asset. The technologies that they cover include Onshore Wind, BESS, and Solar at a utility scale.

They are looking to add an EIA Specialist to the project development side of the team, more specifically the planning/consents side of things. This role will be crucial in ensuring projects progress through the development phase and making sure they comply with environmental regulations.

In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of EIA reports, contributing to appropriate practice and nature impact assessments, devising EIA strategy for renewable energy developments, and liaising with the wider team on environmental legislation and compliance.

For this role, our client is seeking highly experienced professionals with an extensive background in EIA, ideally within the renewable energy sector. The suitable candidate for this role will be able to hit the ground running and also be able to upskill more junior members of the EIA team.

You would be joining up with one of the most stable players in the Irish Renewable Energy market who have a great track record of community engagement and doing development the "right way". You can rest assured that you would see your projects come to fruition as this company are highly experienced in project delivery.

If you have ~5 years of EIA experience and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the right fit for you. This company are happy to look at profiles from a range of backgrounds including development and consultancy.
