Job Title: Associate Development Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Associate Development Project Manager to join a growing team in the renewable energy sector. This role involves managing the development of commercial and industrial solar photovoltaic projects across the United States. The individual will be responsible for coordinating with various internal teams and external stakeholders to secure the necessary approvals, permits, and agreements required for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee the approval and permitting processes, ensuring compliance with interconnection, environmental, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in managing external consultants and resources to meet project goals and deadlines while minimizing risks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, landowners, utilities, and regulatory authorities.
  • Present project updates and secure approvals from internal teams to move projects forward.
  • Contribute to process improvement and help integrate best practices within the team.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to assess project feasibility, costs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure alignment and coordination of efforts to achieve project milestones and successful execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, science, or management).
  • 2+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, including securing permits and approvals.
  • 2+ years of experience working with solar photovoltaic systems, particularly in distributed generation.
  • Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and regulatory compliance for energy projects.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated, self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
