Job Title: Senior Asset and O&M Manager

Company Overview: We are a leading provider of solar power solutions, specializing in the development, ownership, and operation of solar plants. We are seeking an experienced Asset and O&M Manager to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of EPC and Operations, the Asset and O&M Manager will oversee the financial and operational management of solar power generation facilities. This position focuses on ensuring safe and efficient operations while maximizing revenue generation. Key responsibilities include generating facility reports and managing communications with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage asset operations and maintenance for solar assets, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Execute all asset management tasks to enhance generation capabilities while prioritizing safety.
  • Ensure timely completion of reporting requirements for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of operational assets and implement strategies to boost revenue.
  • Supervise direct reports and oversee their work.
  • Lead proactive predictive and preventive maintenance initiatives, and perform technical performance analyses.
  • Facilitate performance reporting and analysis of key metrics to drive asset optimization.
  • Enhance corporate knowledge of solar power generation through training and process improvements.
  • Enforce contractual obligations and manage warranty communications with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Investigate operational anomalies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture of safety, aligning with organizational goals and measuring performance through key safety indicators.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in asset management or operations and maintenance within solar power.
  • Proven expertise in operational and financial management, including contract administration.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on projects and data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Willingness to travel (estimated at 10%).

Desired Attributes:

  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience with engineering, operations, and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level software for data acquisition and control of solar facilities, including maintenance management systems.
  • Understanding of environmental, health, and safety program management for power generation is highly desirable.
