Our client has expertise in project development, EPC, and installation of primarily Solar and BESS assets. They also have innovations in the Green Hydrogen space. This position sits in their development arm, based out of the UK.

Since the development arm's inception 15 years ago, the team across Europe have delivered over 10GW of projects and the current pipeline of development sits at just under 3GW. This company utilizes a blend of greenfield development as well as M&A transactions to drive forward solar and battery storage projects on a utility scale.

They are looking to add a Senior Planner to their UK team to assist in securing consent and progressing projects through the UK planning system. This role would have a mix of hands-on project work, as well as mentoring more junior members of the team.

The UK division of this company has the nice balance of being compact enough to remain dynamic and freethinking, while still having the wider support network of a global business in the background. You would be joining up with a highly collaborative team, who pride themselves on a culture centered around flexibility and allowing their staff to thrive in the best way they see fit.

With some of their flagship projects upcoming being based in Scotland, the key experience needed for this position is:

* Prior experience handling Section 36 planning applications for Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects in Scotland.

* Of course, the preferred sector for this is renewable energy projects - but our client is willing to look at transferrable skills if the candidate has strong S36 experience.

* Experience in managing external consultants within the planning consent process, both for document review but also within public consultation.

If you are looking for a role within a rapidly growing renewable energy developer, where you will be able to contribute to Nationally Significant renewable energy projects, this would be a fantastic role for you!

You would be joining up with a highly knowledgeable and experienced team where your progression and career growth are front and center.
