Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough research and analysis of transmission congestion patterns, market trends, and pricing dynamics across ISOs (CAISO, MISO, ERCOT, PJM, ISO-NE, etc.).Develop and implement FTR trading strategies to maximize profitability while managing risk effectively.Prepare and submit FTR auction bids, manage awarded portfolios, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with trading goals.Utilize advanced analytics and modeling tools to identify opportunities and optimize decision-making.Monitor and mitigate market, credit, and operational risks associated with FTR trading activities.Work closely with analysts, developers, and other traders to enhance trading systems and strategies.Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.2+ years of experience in FTR trading (or related) in the energy sector.Strong understanding of power market structures, transmission congestion, and auction mechanisms.Proficiency in data analysis and programming tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
